Fake experiences & spam
Reviews that don’t reflect a genuine experience, coordinated manipulation, or promotional spam. Evidence matters: an unfamiliar name alone doesn’t prove a review is fake.
Conflicts of interest
Content influenced by a competing business or a professional or personal affiliation, rather than an independent customer experience.
Harassment & threats
Threats, targeted harassment, hate speech, or other abusive content that crosses Google’s policy boundaries.
Off-topic content
Political commentary, personal rants, or unrelated material that doesn’t describe an experience with your business.
Private information
Personal information published without consent, such as private contact details, financial information, or identifying records.
Restricted content
Prohibited material, including certain illegal, sexually explicit, dangerous, or otherwise restricted content.
